Salmon Fillet on a Creamy Leek Bed (without cream)

Total Time: 45 minutes

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking: 35 minutes

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 leeks
  • 20 cl thick Prétexte cooking cream
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • Olive oil
  • Curry powder

  1. Wash the leeks and cut them into slices (use the white part and about 3 centimeters of the green part).
  2. Melt the leeks in a pan with oil, covered, to prevent them from browning (about 15 minutes).
  3. Add salt, pepper, and curry powder to taste towards the end of cooking.
  4. Then arrange the leeks in an oven-proof dish, cover them with the salmon fillets, season with pepper if desired, and cover the whole dish with thick Prétexte cooking cream.
  5. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 6-7 (180°C/190°C) for about 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon.
